Waqar Ahmed has written a monthly literary column for the Dhaka Tribune in which he reviewed current books and films related to South Asia and the Arab World.  His short story, “The Right Passengers,” was a selection in the Best of the Web 2009 print anthology published by Dzanc Books.  A second short story, “Half, Actually,” was published in the Spring 2013 print edition of bengal lights.
